What We Do
Our team of professionals provide customers with dependable handling, storage, and transportation of bulk liquid commodities. Our range of services are here to serve all your liquid bulk needs with services including, rail and vessel transfers, bulk storage, tank wash, and transport providing you with a one stop solution.
RAIL TRANSLOADING
There are 2 rail spurs on-site with daily service by GWRR (shortline), Canadian National Railway (CN) and Canadian Pacific (CP) with appropriate containment. The siding is able to accommodate 45 railcars and steam heating is available. We can off-load multiple products with dedicated pipelines and hoses simultaneously. Need railcar to truck transloading? No problem, we can handle that too. We can also make arrangements for railcar repairs and testing to be done on-site.
LIQUID BULK STORAGE
Toronto Tank Lines has 15 mild steel storage tanks, insulated and steam heated, providing excellent temperature control. We have one specialty tank that has a Phenolic Epoxy coating, it is also insulated and steam heated.
Each of our tanks has a 1,200 cbm capacity and has its own dedicated pipeline and pump for loading and unloading. The tanks can also be locked out, ensuring the integrity and safe keeping of our customer’s products.
We are equipped to load into and out of trucks, railcars and vessels. The terminal has 3 truck loading racks for top and bottom loading and a certified truck weight scale.
Our terminal is available to handle your product transfers and storage when you need them - 24/7 flexibility. Our operations personnel have 25 years experience in the safe handling requirements of virtually all liquid products. Terminal supervisors conduct ongoing training programs to update handling and safety procedures.
VESSEL TRANSLOADING
Toronto Tank Lines is located on Lake Ontario, in the Port of Hamilton, part of The Great Lakes system which connects to the St. Lawrence Seaway. Ships dock at our terminal from foreign and domestic ports. The dock can accommodate a vessel with: Beam: 23.77 m, Draft: 8 m and LOA: 225 m. We have a Piggable 8" pipeline to service all of your vessel / barge unloading needs.
